We flew to Boston for a spring time engagement session  just one week after the city was shaken by the Boston Marathon bombings. We weren’t sure what to expect since we had planned on photographing in the heart of the city, where tragedy had struck days before our arrival.

From the moment we stepped off of the plane, we knew we had just happened upon one of the neatest places on the east coast! Steven and Stephanie picked us up from the airport and we spent an April afternoon wondering the historic streets of an absolutely stunning city, with the sweetest and most intentional of couples! We loved learning about their families, their long distance relationship, and the travels they’ve shared.

Boston is overflowing with character! Falling head over heals for the charming storefronts and cherry blossom trees, we explored the Boston Common, Public Gardens, and North End. Steven & Stephanie introduced us to cannolis at Mike’s Pastry, a must eat for anyone headed to North End.

Even in the midst of such tragedy, the city’s unshakeable spirit & community support was undeniable. We love you, Boston, and can’t wait to get back!

Stephanie & Steven, thank you for sharing this wonderful city with us! We couldn’t have asked for a more personable and fun couple to spend our time with! It is an honor to get to tell your story, and we look forward to seeing y’all again in October!

We loved spending an afternoon doing some head shots for Kelyn! This girl knows how to brighten our day (we spend many a lunch break together)! The light couldn’t have been more perfect for her early summer session.  We are so happy to know this lady, and cannot wait to see where the road leads her!

Where to begin with these two? Their College Station engagement session went too fast. We quickly lost track of time chatting about Maui travels, wedding plans, and their Messina Hof proposal! Gorgeous weather & a very kind couple made our quick trip perfect!
